The Episcopal Church of the Good Samaritan

 The Opportunity Shop is a resale store that  has been a ministry of Good Samaritan for many decades to support the ministry of the parish.  There is always a need for volunteers to help sort  and price donations or to assist with sales.  It is located at 304 S. 10th St., in Gunnison.  Telephone number is 970-641-0118.  The Op shop is open Thursday afternoon from 12:00pm to 5pm.

The Opportunity Shop has supported the work of Good Samaritan Church for many decades.  They have also been active in supporting the Gunnison Food Bank, social services food for Thanksgiving and Christmas for low income families,  program, the 4H clubs, the Gunnison's women' shelter, Tough Enough to Wear Pink program to eradicate Breast Cancer, the Rector's Discretionary Funds that assist the homeless, transients, and the destitute.
