The Episcopal Church of the Good Samaritan

 The are a number of lay ministries that are needed each Sunday morning for services

1. Readers - read the the Old and New Testament lessons and the Psalm appointed for each Sunday worship 

2. Greeters- greet people as they arrive at church, offer bulletins of the service and answer any questions that visitors may have

3. Acolyte- assist the priest at the altar

4. Prayers of the People- a member of the congregation offers the Prayers of the People during the service.  

5.  Music - prepares and leads the music during the service.  Anyone who is a skilled musician is invited to assist with this ministry
